| For the past two years, my company has collected toys from its employees and donated them to our local Toys For Tots organization. This year, the department made a decision that whoever wanted to could volunteer to work an hour of overtime one day this week, and instead of putting that hour on our time sheet and get paid for it, we would put it on a seperate piece of paper and the company would donate extra hours pay to Toys For Tots. Most of us did that extra hour of time, some of us donated more than an hour. Yesterday after work, we totalled up the total hours worked, and then myself, my friend Walter and our boss went over to Wal Mart and bought hundreds of dollars worth of toys.
We over filled three shopping carts full of toys. It took two cashiers to ring everything up, and I think they thought we were crazy, lol. We bought Easy Bake Ovens, toy trucks, board games, basically a good mix of everything that we could get our hands on for boys and girls of all ages. We also bought this metal drum set, which my boss joked that the parents of the kid would probably want to kill us if they found out who donated something that will make such a racket.
Anyway, my point is that its Christmas, the season of giving, and there alot of people that are less fortunate than most of us. It feels good to know that we contributed to the fact that more than fifty kids are going to wake up on Christmas morning with something under their Xmas tree. While we could certainly all be more charitable all year round, I'd encourage everyone reading this to do something nice for others this time of year, be it Toys for Tots or the Salvation Army or whatever. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

| | Went to the Yankee game today. They lost 2-1 in 10 innings. It was actually a really good game. Just the wrong team won. Prices currently at Yankee Stadium were $24 for parking, $4.50 for a hot dog, and $8.50 for a beer. I hate beer so I didn't buy one, but damn, that was the worst $4.50 hot dog I ever ate. | comments: Leave a comment |

| I recently signed up for that Blockbuster online deal where for $15 a month you get unlimited rentals mailed to you. Its a pretty sweet fucking deal. You get three at a time and send them back whenever you damn please. Almost every time they have mailed them, I get them the next day. Since its now summer and all the regular shows are in re-runs, this is perfect, especially with my new work schedule making me get home at 11pm every night. Thus far, I've rented:
-Oz, the fourth season. I had only seen the first three seasons by renting them since I don't get HBO. I never saw the point of getting the premium channels on cable since all I'd ever do was watch HBO for the Sopranos and Oz. Seems like an incredible waste of money, so its much easier to rent the series instead.
-Murder One, the first season. Daniel Benzali is an awesome actor, and Stanley Tucci in this show is the ultimate heel, almost as good as Schillinger on Oz.
-Ladder 49. I watched this tonight. I was kind of disapointed in this movie, but thought overall it was decent.
-The OC, season one. I figured I'd give this a try. I got the first disc yesterday and zipped through the first four episodes last night. I'm hooked. I normally don't go for this kind of show, but I really liked it, and look forward to getting the rest of the season in the mail over the next week or so. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| Well, I am broke.
The car that I drive, while mine, I don't techinically own. A friend of mine and I signed a private agreement where I pay him every month for using it and for insurance, and I'll own the car come early next year. The registration is due next week, and before the car can be re-registered, I had to get it inspected, something that I was supposed to do in November but just didn't bother. Due to the fact that my friend lives in a part of the state that has some mandatory emissions test for inspection, I had to drive down there yesterday morning to get it done. A routine $37 inspection cost me $244.03!
I believe I've mentioned this in the past, but I had my brakes done a few months ago, the rear brakes. I had thought that it was the front brakes, but my dad's mechanic told me they were fine and it was the rear brakes, so I had them done. Well, I go down to Tarrytown for the car inspection, and the guy tells me that in order to pass inspection, I needed front pads and rotors. FUCKING SHIT. I was fucked right there, as they had already taken the old inspection sticker off, and if I had driven the car out of there, with no inspection sticker on the car I may as well have put a sign on the car that said "Pull Me Over, Officer", as the first cop that passed me would have seen the lack of the inspection sticker. So I had to pay this guy to do the brakes, and wait for four hours for him to do this. Meanwhile, I have this terrible cold and could not wait to get out of there so I could go to sleep
I know this guy fucked me. I went there with full knowledge that one of the brake lights in the rear was out, another reason to fail inspection, but I knew they would just charge me a few bucks and put the new bulb in. Well don't you know it, I saw them take the car out for a test drive after putting the new brakes on, and that fucking light was still out. These cocksuckers fucking ripped me off, and I'm pissed. They apparently didn't even bother checking the lights, probably just looked to see what the most expensive thing on the car was to fix and then stick it to me there. The brakes work like crap right now by the way, as I can hear a slight grinding sound when I step on them, something that wasn't wrong with them before I took the car there.
So now I've spend two hundred dollars more than I wanted to on this car, and I'm broke. No Jersey All Pro for me next weekend! Thank god I worked a day of over time last weekend, or else I probably would not have been able to afford this.
Speaking of last weekend, the ROH show in Woodbridge was fucking awesome. Seriously one of the best ROH shows I've ever been to. Perhaps it was all that Southern Comfort I had before the show in the parking lot. Perhaps it was Larry Dallas cutting the most awesome promo on some guy after the show in the parking lot in recent memory. Or perhaps it was two awesome final matches with James Gibson vs Rocky Romero and CM Punk and Spanky vs Jay Lethal and Samoa Joe, with everyone else on the card working their asses off in front of a smaller than normal crowd. I can't wait for this show to come out on DVD. It was as good as Empire State Showdown in October 03 which I loved live and love even more on tape.
The ROH show in Philly the week before was also great, despite the ring breaking in the middle of the show. Joe/Dragon/Walker vs Spanky/Gibson/Nigel was a fantastic match, my pick for the best match of the night. I also look forward to seeing this on DVD soon as well.
Wow, two updates in the span of two weeks. I may make this a regular occurance. | comments: Leave a comment |

| Time for the monthly update, lol.
Went to the ROH show on 2/19 at the Rexplex. It was a long day, but it was great. We sat front row for the afternoon show and saw some decent action, and some not so decent new talent for the first time. If I never saw the Heartbreakers again, it would be too soon. The evening show was great, contrary to what others have said. Sat front row with Dan, Paul, Dave, Kevin, Colleen and Messick.
Also went to Gregh's birthday party in Brooklyn with John, Mikey, Bill and Kruegs. I swear to god I wasn't drunk. I just had alot to drink. Lobster, shrimp and sushi plus alot of other great food, and great company.
Never made it to the midwest the following weekend, sadly. Boot and Sarah had a great time though, so I'm glad they made it out there. I'm trying to at least get to Dayton in May, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford it. Frankly, there are too many shows and not enough money. I'm thinking I may just get general admission seats from now on, that will at least save me some money.
March will be a busy month. Heading off to Philly on Saturday for ROH at the armory, then next weekend some more ROH in New Haven. I'm not really excited with the card in Philly, but the shows that on paper look weak are usually the better shows. I'll be sitting front row with Paul the Green Lantern Fan as usual. Then at the end of the month is Jersey All Pro at the ECW Arena, and I've convinced Eric to come with me, I think. At least he said he would go so we'll see. Just gonna sit GA for that show, featuring Teddy and Jack vs Cide and B Boy in a cage, and Joe vs Ki which will probably be overbooked. Hey, at least I can smoke inside the Arena. | comments: Leave a comment |

| As many of you who have ridden in my car the last six months, you know I needed a brake job. Badly. To the point where I probably shouldn't have been driving it. But fuck it, I did anyway. I did buy front pads and rotors a few months ago, but never got around to getting them put on.
Well yesterday around noon I was driving to work, and it was raining. For whatever reason, the car ahead of me decided out of the blue to slam on his brakes. I had to do the same. Well, the second I did, all I hear is this screaching noise followed by alot of grinding, ending with a big THUNK as my car stopped as if it hit something. Fucking shit. I didn't hit anything, the brakes were just that far gone. I manage to slowly finish the drive to work, and deal with it afterwards.
I was debating the entire day what I should do. I finally decided that after work, I'd drive up to my parents and spend the night there, and have one of my dads mechanic friends fix it in the morning, since my regular mechanic who did all the work cheap in his garage had his house burn down a few months ago and I sure as fuck wasn't paying some crook at Midas or one of the other chains to rob me blind.
So I drive slowly to my parents house, making sure to take the long way since it was a straight road and didn't have to hit the brakes often. I get to my parents about 10:30, and after some debating with them which guy my dad knew I would take it to, that me and my dad would go to his friend Ron's at 8am in the morning to fix it. Eight in the fucking morning! I had to sleep in my parents basement, on this fold out couch. Well, I didn't get any sleep, as it was the most uncomfortable thing in the world. Instead I just stayed up all night and watched TV.
We went to Ron's at 8. He told us to drop the car off, he would take it in as soon as he was done with the car he had in there, but figured he would be done with my car at 11. Thats good. I told him I already had the pads and rotors, just needed them put on, and also made it a point to ask for an oil change. I told him if it was more than just brakes and pads, just fix it, he didn't have to call. So me and my dad went back to his house and I crashed on the couch with some coffee and watched more TV.
Ron calls at 11:15, said the car is done. Thank god. We go there....AND HE SAID THE FRONT BRAKES WERE FINE, IT WAS THE BACK BREAKS THAT WERE GONE. I swear to god, anyone who has been in my car would have said it was the front brakes that were shot. I had figured I'd pay this guy like $75 for the labor to put them on, since I had already bought the parts. Nope. I paid him $183, and am now in possession of front brake pads and rotors that I cannot return because its past the return policy of Autozone. I suppose I'll just keep them until I need them done. So I paid Ron almost every last cent I had for the work and drove home.
Got home around 1pm, fucked around online for a bit and took a nap. Woke up about an hour ago, still tired.

| Good lord, has it been five months since I've updated this thing?
Final Battle is this Sunday. I look forward to making the trek down to Philly, although I'm not certain who I'm traveling with. I have to leave right after the show as I work at 10am Monday. No afterparty for me. I'll have been to 15 ROH shows this year counting Sunday's show. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a bunch of friends that I've grown to become very close with and enjoying something with them that we all love, wrestling. Whether it be a great show like the Weekend of Thunder in November, Jersey All Pro, or that shit show FUSION, no matter the quality of the show we always have a great time.
I'm not really in any kind of holiday spirit. I'm not sure it has anything with my grandfather dying two weeks ago, moreso than things just kind of suck all around right now. Things are kind of looking up right now though, as I heard some info today and yesterday that leads me to believe I'm getting a different position at my job, one that allows me to work Monday to Friday. That would be good, as I'm always dead tired going into work on Sunday's, especially after going to a show the previous night and not getting home until 3am.
I'll hopefully be able to afford the ROH mid-west doubleshot in February. AJ Styles makes his return on the 2/25 Dayton show, and although I've seen him once in 3PW since he hasn't been able to work ROH since the incident, it just wasn't the same at 3PW and I look forward to seeing him in an ROH ring again, even if it may only be for one night only. I'm not sure who I'll be making the trek with this time, but I know I'll meet up with Boot and Sarah once I get to Ohio. Seeing them in June when we all went out to Dayton for World Title Classic was great, but we only got to hang out for like six or seven hours, and that just doesn't seem long enough. Boot came out here in July, but again we only went to a show together and that was it. We still managed to have a classic time. Its too bad that we can't all live near each other. Shit, even living an hour apart would be better than the nine or ten hours or so that we do now.
Living here in the northeast, with all the great wrestling makes me realize how lucky I am to be here. I know people who live in area's that don't get such an eclectic mix of shows, and have to settle for WWE coming by a few times a year and thats it. Here is a list of the show's I've been to this year:
2/14 ROH, Boston 3/13 ROH, Elizabeth NJ 3/14 WWE, Wrestlemania 20, NYC 5/15 ROH, Boston 5/22 ROH, Philly 6/12 ROH, Dayton 6/24 ROH, Philly 7/17 ROH, Elizabeth 8/2 ROH, Philly 8/28 ROH, Boston 9/11 ROH, Elizabeth 9/18 JAPW, Rahway 10/2 ROH, Philly 10/16 3PW, Philly 10/30 JAPW, Rahway 11/5 ROH, Boston 11/6 ROH, Elizabeth 12/4 ROH, Elizabeth 12/17 FUSION, Elizabeth
Counting this Sunday's show, thats 20 total for this year. I can't count how much money I've spent on shows, travel, and merch this year, but its got to be alot. And every dime was well spent. I look forward to continuing this as the new year rolls in. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| I really need to update this thing more.
Last Saturday was a great day. I woke up around 10am and got ready for the ROH show. Left home at about 11:30, had to get down to Elizabeth to pick up Gregh and a few others at the hotel before heading over to the Rexplex a few miles away for a big day of ROH. Well, as soon as I made my way onto the Thruway, I ecountered me a traffic jam at the Harriman toll plaza, and sat in traffic for a half hour. Fuck. I told Gregh I would be there at 1:30. Well, I eventually start moving again, and meet up with Gregh at his hotel at 2pm. I forget who came with us to the Rexplex, I think it was Eric and Lucky Charms, but I could be mistaken. We got to the Rexplex like at 2:15, and I get a call from Mikey. He needs Boots phone number. I also call Boot to find out if they were near the Rexplex yet, and they hadn't fucking left their hotel yet! Sarah was supposed to get money Western Unioned to her from her mom or dad or third cousin twice removed or something. Well it never came, so Boot, Dan and Dante just left her sitting in the hotel for the next 12 hours. LOL!
The afternoon Do or Die III card started at 3pm. It wasn't very good IMO. Matt Sydal vs Delirious was probably the best match. I scored first row seats with Bobby, Mike, Green Lantern Fan, Brett and a few others, but I saw Boot and company enter the building like during the third match, so I gave my seat up to someone else and went and sat with them. Marcus comes in a few matches later, and comments to me that going to an ROH show is like going to a family reunion. He's so right. I saw so many friends from the message board and chat room. My sincere apologies to those of you were met by a blank stare from me, but there are just so many great people I've met by going to ROH shows that I have a hard time remembering everyone's names. Its embarassing really to have someone come up to you and say "Hey Chise" and not remember who they are. Again, my apologies. I know I did it to Parker and JB.
After Do or Die III, we made our way, with about 80 others, up to a private room in the Rexplex for our pre show party. Let me tell you, the Rexplex has the best fucking Ceasar salad in the world. The highlight of the party saw a trivia challenge between a bunch of the ROH board members. Gregh didn't use all the questions I prepared for him :( I got my tickets from Gregh, and completely swerved Dan. I had promised Boot a ticket to the show, and told Dan I would buy him one too. The thing is, I had three tickets all along and Dan thought that me and Boot were sitting by ourselves and that Dan would be off in the corner or something by himself, or even worse, with Dante at the barrier. I know for a fact that this pissed Dan off really bad a few days before the show, but I let it ride anyway and didn't tell him he'd be sitting with us. I was outside smoking a cig and Dan went inside to buy his ticket, when Boot brought up the ticket I promised to Dan. I had already given Boot his ticket, and then pulled two more out of my pocket with a smirk on my face. Boot started laughing, but then we realized that Dan went inside to buy a ticket, so we ran in after him, just as he was about to pay for one. That was close. Whew. Me, Boot, Dan and Pat wound up sitting next to each other. It was six years in the making that all four of us were at the same show in the same place. Pat got high during intermission, which was great.
The evening show was highlighted by a fantastic match for the Pure title with Doug Williams and Alex Shelley, the face turn of CM Punk and a great six man with the Briscoes, Joe, Homicide and the Havana Pitbulls, and then the return and heel turn of Low Ki.
Afterwards, another party! This time we did it in a bigger room. All the wrestlers just about were there. Jack Evans, who is now my second favorite in ROH, after Punk, talked to us all for like an hour. Boot and Dan, Bill, Mikey and Dante all left a little bit before I did. I stayed till the very end, when the Rexplex finally threw the final bunch of us out. I said my goodbye's to Cary, Mike K, Lonewolf, and brought Gregh back to his hotel, but not before seeing Jack Evans again in the parking lot chugging a bottle of wine. He's the man.
And that was it! I got home around 4:30am, and had to be up five hours later for work. Ugh. I scored a front row seat to the 8/7 show in Philly, and just bought someones front row ticket to the 10/2 show. Sorry you can't be there Bobo, but I'll do your seat proud. Boot says he's going to fly in on 9/11 for the next Rexplex show, and hopefully Pat will be able to make it too.
Like I said earlier, going to an ROH show is like going to a family reunion. I can't wait until 8/7. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| I don't even know where to begin. Let's try the beginning.
I woke up at 11am on Friday morning, pumped for the road trip to Dayton. I had no idea how little sleep I would get this weekend. After a quick drive over to my friend Eric's to get the camcorder for the weekend, which had a dead battery and I could not find one at WalMart or Circuit City or anywhere, and a quick tire change due to a flat I had last week, I headed off to lovely New Jersey to meet up with the gang. First stop, Edison, NJ to pick up Xxpl0sive (Mike) (I spelled it right for once, buddy!). Just to go off tangent for a moment, I'd like to be like CM Punk and give a quick shout out to the state of New Jersey and give them a big "go f*ck yourselves". For me to pay thirty five cents every few miles on the Garden State Parkway is ridiculous, since by looking at that road, its quite clear you take my toll money and throw it down the drain, because thats the most atrocious road in the United States. Anyway, I was ahead of schedule, so we hung out for a little while at his house, surfed the net for a bit, and then headed off to Atlantic Highlands to pick up Push Stryker (Matt). Tree and Ceej met up with us there a short time later, and after a quick stop at the Freehold mall to pick up Mary Kate and a bite to eat at Burger King, the trip was officially ON.
Ceej was tired, so she went with Matt and Tree in their van, while I took the helm of the rental car with Mary Kate and Mike. We spent out time watching PWG dvd's on MK's dvd player, as well as Back to the Future, which Mike had never seen and fell asleep about 45 minutes in. I'll be giving you the DVD box set of the trilogy in Glen Burnie, Mike, and I expect a 2 page report of the trilogy at the Rexplex in July, double spaced. Thanks. Anyway, we arrived at our destination, the Ramada Inn in Dayton Ohio some 9 1/2 hours later at 8:30am. Since the hotel didn't have any rooms ready yet, we went to this most awesome place in the world, the Waffle House, for breakfast. I demand that the Waffle House franchise get themselves a location in Poughkeepsie, that place was great. We checked into the hotel around 10am or so, and all decided to get some sleep. Well, I didn't fall asleep until about 11:30. And then Gregh called me at noon, and I could not fall back asleep. Thanks Gregh! I normally wake up around noon anyway, so I think when I woke up, my body clock reset itself and decided that I was fully rested, since I wasn't groggy at all. As the rest of the Fellowship of the ring (yeah Tree, you called us the Magnificent Seven, but I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan) slept, I headed off to Best Buy to buy Ceej some tape for her camcorder, as well as some cigarettes for myself. They were like $1.50 cheaper in Ohio than they are in New York, so I made it a point to pick up a few packs. After everyone woke up around 3pm, we all took our turns showering, and then headed off to Gregh's party.
I dropped Mary Kate off at the Fairgrounds, and walked across the street to Dominic's, the location of our get together. I was greeted by the legendary GREGH, and was introduced to Cary Silken, who is a fabulous guy. The lovely Ms Biscuit and Malkazanie were there, and I promptly sat next to Manda. My friends Geoff and Sarah were there, as I had plans to meet them at the party, and it was great seeing them, as I hadn't seen them in a year. I got my ass kicked at trivia. I admit it. I was in no condition to perform on this fateful evening, and my performance during the contest showed I had no business to be out there! :( Thanks to Gregh for putting it together, and to Bret Bertliner and your new trivia champion Thomas Bobo for a fun competition.
And then we head off to the MAIN EVENT. The ROH show, I am obviously referring to. I always walk away from an ROH show feeling that it was the greatest show that I have ever seen, and tonight was no exception. To be honest, when intermission came about, I was worried. I didn't think much of the first half of the show, with the six man being the exception. I really dug the six man match, and I don't think that its getting the praise that it deserves. Basically, during intermission, my thought was that this was just an "ok" show, nothing special. I wasn't overly impressed with either Ray Gordy or Superstar Steve either. I also really liked the Ultimate Endurance match. But here is where the shit hit the fan. Perhaps you heard about it. There was this little match with Samoa Joe and CM Punk.
I'll go on record and state that this is without doubt the greatest singles match that I have ever seen live. I now know why Gabe was pimping the match so much over the past two weeks or so. The crowd was hot, the work was stiff. Those alternating "lets go punk, lets go joe" chants? Those were my doing. About five minutes into the match, I told him that we needed to get those chants going through most of the match, as it was obvious that those two were going damn near if not the entire full distance. This match deserves every single bit of praise that its getting, and then some. Mad props to both Punk and Joe for pulling it off, and even more to Punk for doing that match after he did 61 minutes the night before with Chris Hero. The "match of the year" chant after the match was more than well deserved. I simply cannot wait until this match comes out on tape.
After the show, we all headed off to the sports bar for the post show party. Unfortunately, Mike had to go back to the hotel due to being underage, and I felt terrible about that. Geoff and Sarah also had to leave, since Sarah was underage and they would not let them in. Frankly, that wasn't exactly fair since the Briscoes were let in, but I digress. Umm, as for the party, I don't remember much. I was shit faced out of my mind. Thats the price you get when you don't drink for like six months and then slam a half dozen drinks in short order folks. I do remember being scared to go up to Punk due to my inebriated state. I do remember telling Cary about 10 times that I loved the show and was glad I came out for it. I also remember seeing Ms Biscuit and Malkazine there, but I don't remember saying goodbye to them. Sorry ladies, my apologies.
Our hotel was literally within walking distance from the sports bar, so I walked back to the hotel. Well, I stumbled back. Then I realized I had given my hotel key to Mike, and when I got there, I was pounding on the door and he wasn't answering, and he would not pick up his cell phone. So I stumbled back to the bar and got the other key from Tree. I think I fell asleep at like 3:30am. I recommend the floor of the Ramada Inn to anyone, it was the best night of sleep I ever had. I purposely made it a point to stay awake waiting for the rest of the Fellowship to return from the party, because they didn't have a key, and I didnt' want to repeat what happened to me. I went out to the rental car to get my stuff out of it, since I was going back with Tree and Matt, as MK, Ceej and Mike were going back a little earlier. At this point, I discovered that the unopened pack of cigs I had in the car were open. Jack Evans, I know it was you, and you owe me four smokes, buddy. :)
We eventually woke up and checked out of the hotel at like 9am. After a quick stop at the Waffle House~! for breakfast, myself, Tree and Matt started our trek back home. Yes, the Fellowship had broken, as the other three had left like an hour and a half before us. The trip was pretty uneventful, as I slept in the back of the van, which was incredibly uncomfortable, but hey, what are you going to do right? We eventually got back to Matt's house in New Jersey a little after 8pm last night, said our goodbye's to Matt, and Tree and I headed off to his home in Queens, which took forever. Got to love NYC traffic on a Sunday night! I dropped him off, and then headed off to Poughkeepsie, finally arriving home slightly after midnight this morning, ending my 59 hour trip. I swore to myself that I would go right to bed, but for anyone who knows me, that hardly happened. I spent the next two hours surfing online reading the reviews on the show, as well as all the other wrestling news from the weekend. I then got up at 10am and headed off to work, to find out the minute I got there that I was getting a $1.75 an hour pay raise. Now thats a hell of a way to cap off a great weekend~!
All in all, this was absolutely the best road trip EVER. My many thanks to my fellow road companions for a fabulous weekend. Thanks to Gregh for the get together before the show. And big thanks to Gabe, Cary and all the wrestlers for a hell of a show. | comments: Leave a comment |

| Wow, look how long I haven't updated this thing since. Well, something interesting happened to me today when I was at Walgreens. Instead of retyping it, I'll just copy and paste this from the chat where I just told the story:
ROH Chise (7:48:27 PM): well today was an exciting day for me ROH Chise (7:48:30 PM): i slept till noon ROH Chise (7:48:32 PM): i woke up ROH Chise (7:48:36 PM): drank a cup of coffee ROH Chise (7:48:37 PM): took a shower BigBenG213 (7:48:40 PM): I had my last two classes of the year ROH Chise (7:48:41 PM): went to get my hair cut ROH Chise (7:48:48 PM): and thats when things started to get interesting michromerulz (7:48:50 PM): got my flight confirmation :-D ROH Chise (7:48:50 PM): listen to this shit BigBenG213 (7:49:02 PM): and sat in front of my computer all day doing things to distract myself from my 3 papers ROH Chise (7:49:04 PM): i get my hair cut and go into Walgreens next door to buy some shampoo and deoderant right ROH Chise (7:49:26 PM): and this middle aged man wlaks in and starts talking to random people "praise the lord' and "hallelujiah" ROH Chise (7:49:30 PM): and i'm like "omg" ROH Chise (7:49:39 PM): i get in line trying to avoid him BigBenG213 (7:49:39 PM): Julius Smokes? ROH Chise (7:49:47 PM): he gets a soda and he fucking walks up in line behind me ROH Chise (7:50:00 PM): AND HE FUCKING PUT HIS HAND ON MY SHOULDER AND SAID "JESUS LOVES YOU MY BROTHER" ROH Chise (7:50:09 PM): and i go to him "get your fucking hand off my shoulder" ROH Chise (7:50:14 PM): and he does ROH Chise (7:50:20 PM): and then he goes to me "did you go to church on sunday" ROH Chise (7:50:28 PM): and i said no, and he looked shocked and asked me why ROH Chise (7:50:31 PM): i told him i was working ROH Chise (7:50:44 PM): and he goes "oh ok. well if you didnt work would have you have went to church" and i of course said "no" BigBenG213 (7:50:51 PM): HAHA BigBenG213 (7:51:04 PM): you should have just told him that you were Jewish BigBenG213 (7:51:10 PM): works for me and I dont even have to lie ROH Chise (7:51:15 PM): and he asked me why, and by this point i was getting really pissed off and i yell at him "because i dont believe in god, the bible is a bunch of bullshit" ROH Chise (7:51:26 PM): and he gets this crazy expression on my face, like he was in shock i would say that ROH Chise (7:51:40 PM): he didn't say another word after that ROH Chise (7:51:45 PM): i paid for my shit and got the fuck out of there
See, the truth is, I wouldn't have gone to church if I didn't have to work, and I have not set foot in a church in years. I can't even remember the last time I was at church. I actually do believe in God, in theory, but I don't think that you have to go to church in order to believe in him. However, I also don't believe in organized religion. Who is God to tell me how to live my life? I live my life by my own accord, not by what I'm told to do, because "it is written" or what have you. | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |

| Figured it was time to update, seeing as I haven't in two weeks. Not too much has gone on during the past two weeks. I wasn't given many appointments for work, and now I no longer work there. Oh well. It was a depressing job anyway, seeing all these old people all the time. I'm pretty much flat broke right now and have no income coming in. I was supposed to go look for a job today, but I slept all day instead after staying up all night and watching infomercials. I'm a lazy bastard.
Speaking of infomercials, I want a fucking Jack LaLaine Juicer. That thing looks really cool.
There are only 12 days left until the huge ROH/Wrestlemania weekend. I'll be fortunate enough to go to both shows, as well as a pre-WM party in Manhattan hosted by my main man Gregh. It's going to be a long weekend. I just hope I have enough money by then.
I still am on my benefit year for unemployment from when CP went out of business last year, so I filed for benefits yesterday. They said I had to fill out some form to see if I'm eligable since I haven't collected in several months because of self employment. I hope I get it, that $400 is going to come in handy. I also started the process to cash out my 401(k) plan from CP, but I doubt I will get that money anytime soon.
Thats pretty much all thats going on in my life right now. I'm bored to tears. See ya later. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| | I forgot to add this to my earlier entry. The Daytona 500 is today I think, or some car race. Whoopie! Watching a bunch of cars driving around in a left handed circle a few hundred times. Now thats gripping television! About as exciting as watching paint dry. | comments: Leave a comment |
